 Also featuring the premieres of Aurorean Air by Trevor Weston and Paul Mauffray's orchestration of A Prayer from Malta, 1972 by Fr. Michael Burke and works by Mozart and Arensky. 

 

Les Cenelles is a setting of four selections from the eponymous collection of poems by New Orleans free men of color, published in 1845. This piece, which we have solicited, is a fruit of a longstanding collaboration between Ryan Harrison and New Orleans Chamber Orchestra; it is the third of his pieces we'll premiere and the most ambitious of the three.
